Prunella Margaret Rumney West Scales CBE (née Illingworth; born 22 June 1932) is a retired English actor.
Prunella Scales was born on 22 June 1932 in Sutton Abinger, Surrey, England, UK. She is an actress, known for Howards End (1992), Fawlty Towers (1975) and Wolf (1994). She has been married to Timothy West since 26 October 1963. They have two children.
