In 1974 Cleveland, the kids Wendy, Judy, Kelly, and Nick are playing hide-and-seek in a derelict building. While going to school, siblings Kim, Alex, and Robin stop near the building since Kim needs to return home. Robin flees from Alex and runs to the building, and the quartet frightens her and she falls off the window, immediately dying.
