In the song, Zappa shares his disillusionment with the traditional orchestral setting and the lack of personal energy he observed in orchestral performances.

The only other time this had occurred was two months earlier at the Miami Pop Festival on May 18, 1968, when Eddie Kramer had documented The Mothers’ set on 1” 8-track tape.
Not Zappa but if you’re also into Beefheart check out a group called Man Man from Philly and Brooklyn. I used to see them play back in 2004 and they were great. Zappa theatrics with Magic Band style.
