Five Miles Out, released in 1982 through Virgin Records in the UK and Epic Records in the US, is the seventh studio album by English Progressive Rock musician Mike Oldfield.Recorded fresh off the heels of the European Adventure Tour in support of QE2, the album was made with the close support of Oldfield's touring musicians, all of whom were previously session musicians on QE2.
