Pines is the third and final studio album by A Fine Frenzy, the former stage name for American singer-songwriter Alison Sudol. The album was released in the United States on October 9, 2012 and in the United Kingdom on January 28, 2013 through Virgin Records.

Alison Loren Sudol (23 de diciembre de 1984), conocida por su seudónimo musical A Fine Frenzy, es una cantautora, pianista y actriz estadounidense, embajadora de buena voluntad de la IUCN (Unión Internacional para la Conservación de la Naturaleza).
SINGER/SONGWRITER · 2012. By turns moody and joyous, Pines is an extended love letter to the natural world. Alison Sudol (a.k.a. A Fine Frenzy) draws upon her recent visits to Pacific Coast forests to lead the listener into landscapes where trees speak and all of creation feels alive.
In the March 2012 issue of Lucky magazine, she revealed the third album's title, Pines. Previously scheduled for release in September 2012, its release date was pushed back to October 9. Along with Pines, Sudol released an animated short film and a companion book illustrated by Jen Lobo.
