Peter Salmon (born 15 May 1956) is a British television producer and executive. He is Chief Creative Officer of global content creator, producer and distributor Endemol Shine Group , leading the company’s creative direction globally and overseeing the Group’s UK business.
Peter is an International Emmy and BAFTA award winning director with over 20 years of professional experience in film and television that has seen him take his work to Cannes, New York, Telluride and numerous other film festivals across the globe.

14 de dic. de 2021 · Peter Salmon is to leave his role as executive chairman at Banijay in the UK next year, with the BBC’s factual chief Patrick Holland replacing him. Salmon took up his most recent role last year, after the French media group restructured its operations in the UK, following its $2.2bn acquisition of Endemol Shine Group (ESG).
13 de mar. de 2024 · Salmon has been nominated at the Australian Directors Guild Awards for his directing on Nowhere Boys and the final episodes of both Secrets & Lies and romance The Beautiful Lie. In 2018, Salmon turned to producing, with the third season of Aussie series Wanted, a renegade adventure starring Rebecca Gibney.
