Peter William Brockbanks mais conhecido como Peter Banks (Barnet,15 de julho de 1947 — Londres, 7 de março de 2013) [1] foi um guitarrista, participou da formação original da banda de rock progressivo Yes. [2] Ainda jovem seu pai o comprou um violão barato, e Pete demonstrou devoção e habilidade com instrumento nunca antes suspeitados. Ainda adolescente também aprendeu a tocar banjo.
