Pete Townshend på Commons. Peter Dennis Blandford Townshend (født 19. mai 1945 i Chiswick, Hounslow, London) er en britisk rocke gitarist og - komponist som er mest kjent for sin rolle i rockebandet The Who. Han er også en aktiv skribent, om musikk og aktuelle samfunnstema.
