Peter Dennis Blandford "Pete" Townshend (* 19. května 1945) je anglický rockový hudebník, skladatel, multiinstrumentalista, zpěvák a spisovatel, známý především jako kytarista a skladatel rockové kapely The Who, ale také svou sólovou kariérou.
