Peter Hans Docter 1 ( Bloomington, Minnesota, 9 de octubre de 1968) es un director, guionista y productor estadounidense, conocido principalmente por dirigir películas como Monsters, Inc., Up, Inside Out y Soul, además de ser una figura clave de Pixar desde los inicios del estudio.
Peter Hans Docter (born October 9, 1968) is an American filmmaker and animator. [2] [3] He was credited as the director for the Pixar animated feature films Monsters, Inc. (2001), Up (2009), Inside Out (2015), and Soul (2020), and has served as the company's chief creative officer (CCO) since 2018.
Pete Docter is the creator of "Monsters, Inc.," "Up," and "Inside Out," and the Chief Creative Officer at Pixar Animation Studios. He has been nominated for eight Academy Awards® and won three for his films, and is currently working on "Soul" and "Elemental".
