Well, Pete didn’t last long and was replaced rather quickly during the early recordings of the album. In fact, he doesn’t appear on any of the album. They replaced him with bass player, Jon Brant.

Shortly after this Pete Comita (ex-bass player Cheap Trick) was hired to record guitar on the band's first demo but this relationship was short-lived when Vie befriend local guitarist Alex Kane and finding an instant comradery amoungst the three was asked to join the band.
