Perry Benson 1961. április 9-én született Anglia fővárosában, Londonban. Első filmes szerepét 13 évesen kapta a Where's Johnny? című családi filmben. 1978-ban kisebb szerepet kapott a Miss MacMichael osztálya című komédiában, aztán egy évvel később feltűnt a Scum - Söpredék és A Beatles születése című filmekben. 1981-ben 6 epizódon át játszott a Going Out című ...
On being asked if a knowledge of Cammell and Roeg’s film was necessary to get the most out of Performers, Benson insists not but it is worth seeing for its own merits. “The piece stands alone as it is, but it might be worth seeing [ Performance] before hand.
