Paul Calvin Vogt (born December 16, 1964) is an American actor and comedian, best known for his work as a cast member on the sketch comedy programs Mad TV, The Big Gay Sketch Show, and The Rerun Show.
Paul Vogt proudly made his Broadway Debut in Hairspray! as “Edna Turnblad” on January 30, 2007 with Jere Burns, and since then he’s played Tracy’s loveable mom all over the country, even following-up the incomparable Harvey Fierstein at the Luxor in Las Vegas.
Paul Vogt is a versatile performer who has appeared in TV shows, movies, and musicals. He is best known for his roles as Mrs. Garrett in The Rerun Show, Jimbo Milachi in Happy Days: the musical, and Mr. Harriman F. Spritzer in Hairspray Live!

Von 1995 bis 1996 war Vogt Oberarzt für Herz- und Gefässchirurgie am Universitätsspital Zürich. Nach einigen Jahren als Teilzeit-Dozent für kardiovaskuläre Chirurgie, wurde er 1997 zum Privatdozent an der Medizinischen Fakultät der Universität Zürich habilitiert.
