Paul Turner is a professor of ecology and evolutionary biology at Yale University and a microbiologist. He studies the evolution of viruses, especially phages and RNA viruses, and their applications to treat antibiotic-resistant bacterial diseases. He is also involved in science-communication outreach to the public and K-12 teachers.
