Paul Samwell-Smith is an English musician and record producer, best known as a founding member and bassist of the Yardbirds. He also produced albums for Cat Stevens, Jethro Tull, Carly Simon and others. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1992.
