They formed the band Wings, which toured the world and became the best-selling pop act of the 1970s, with 27 U.S. Top 40 hits. Linda McCartney died of breast cancer on April 17, 1998.

First of all, I’m so fortunate to be a part of Paul McCartney’s band now for fifteen years and it’s the most lovely group of guys and the most talented musicians playing inarguably the best music of the later twentieth century. So that goes a long way to satisfying me.
