The title track and second single, 'Band on the Run' is one of the most beautifully structured songs McCartney wrote outside The Beatles.

He was praying fervently and the image of wings came to his mind. He decided to name his new band “Wings”.

Debutaron en 1971 con el disco "Wild Life" publicado tras "McCartney" y "Ram", discos solistas de Paul McCartney.
