    Judge Paul Herbert came to the realization that human trafficking victims looked incredibly similar to those convicted for prostitution. Through research, he learned the horrible truths about the sex industry in Columbus and decided to take and founded CATCH Court in 2009 to provide a path of rehabilitation, recovery, and support for human trafficking victims.

  5. The Court has fourteen General Division judges and one Environmental Division judge. Judges preside over civil, criminal, and traffic cases and conduct both jury and non-jury trials. The Court’s jurisdiction includes traffic cases, misdemeanor criminal cases, and civil cases where the amount at issue is $15,000 or less.
