Hace 2 días · Contents. Patrick Olive. Patrick Augustus Olive (born 22 March 1947) is a Grenadian musician. He is best known for being a member of Hot Chocolate. He was originally the percussionist from 1968 to 1975, before switching to bass guitar. Currently, Olive is the only member in the band who has been in Hot Chocolate since its inception in 1968.

Brown and Wilson wrote rest of the album separately, with the band members Harvey Hinsley, Patrick Olive and Tony Connor contributing "A Warm Smile". The album includes the group's best-known hit, "You Sexy Thing" and the top-10 UK and Irish hit "A Child's Prayer".

Popular during the 1970s and 1980s, and formed by the late Errol Brown they had at least one hit every year between 1970 and 1984 inclusive, and their song You Sexy Thing made the top ten in three decades.
