My mom was a single mother and very cool about us playing drums in the house. She let us move all the furniture out of the living room and set our drum kits up and play.
In 1993, Pat Bautz joined the band on drums. Pat brought a fresh talent and attitude to the band as well as a wonderfully rock-solid tempo and groove. I have found Pat to have a little of Floyd Sneed in him, a little of Jeffrey Porcaro, and a whole lot of Patrick Bautz; my three favorite drummers wrapped up into one.

Their bass player Joe Schermie was born in Wisconsin in 1945 and raised in Arizona. He played in various rock groups at school and then worked in bar bands in Los Angeles.

However, even prior to the completion of her doctoral degree she began working as an instructor in the astronomy department at Northwestern in September 1965.
