26 de dic. de 2019 · Party Girls & Broken Poets is an elegant album by underground visionary Elliott Murphy. The black-and-white cover on gold and white gives a hint to the music inside. The first portion of the album takes a while to kick in, until the third song, "Dr. Calabash."
Featuring guest performances by David Johansen (New York Dolls) and Brian Ritchie (Violent Femmes) and including the moving title cut as well as fan favorites such as “Last Call” and “Three Complete American Novels” – Party Girls & Broken Poets can now be heard as it was always meant to be.
