The innovative Fashion Design BFA program has trained six generations of designers who have shaped the global industry. Employing design thinking and creative problem-solving strategies, you explore form, silhouette, material, and process — including social and environmental imperatives — to create beautiful, sustainable, responsibly produced fashion for a complex and evolving field.
These 60-minute student-led campus tours introduce visitors to the graduate academic facilities at Parsons School of Design, the Schools of Public Engagement, and/or The New School for Social Research. These tours provide a general and broad overview of campus buildings used by graduate students at The New School.
In the BFA Illustration program at Parsons, you learn to translate ideas into images in digital and traditional media ranging from picture books, graphic novels, hand-lettering, and editorial illustrations to toys, films, animations, gallery art, installations, illustration in performance settings, and surface and display design.
Students collaborate with peers throughout The New School, industry partners, and communities around the world and in New York City, a global center of art, design, and business. #1.
