Parsons is renamed Parsons The New School for Design, signaling the full union with its parent university. The year begins a new period of intensive industry engagement, marked by partnerships with organizations including Louis Vuitton, Habitat for Humanity, Godiva, United Nations, Areaware, NYC Mayor’s Office, and NYCxDESIGN.
Summer is the season for transformation — a time to travel to new places, make new friends, and learn something new. Parsons, a world leader in art and design education, offers online and on-campus summer programs for learners of all ages, from grades 3 through 12 to college students to working professionals.
Use New York City as an urban laboratory and draw on Parsons’ long-standing connections to design firms, manufacturers, galleries, and museums. Creative Collaboration Share fabrication and studio spaces with related graduate programs in students from the Architecture, Lighting Design, and Industrial Design programs, fostering interdisciplinary work.
