Discussion. Personally, I LOVE the first movie. I always found it scary in a realistic way. Even if you don’t think ghosts are real, the possibility of hearing loud bangs in your house late at night is very real and relatable. To this day, I think if you watch the movie at night free of distractions it’ll still elicit scares.
Hopefully this doesn't make me sound like a pretentious asshole, but I really love the Found Footage genre, but I feel like I've pretty much seen all the good ones. Every time someone recommends me another one it ends up not being interesting to me, it's possible that I've become a lot more picky after watching 50+ films of this genre.
