Local H soon left Island after Universal apparently wanted them to basically sellout to which frontman Scott Lucas stood by his principles.

  6. The album has 15 tracks, which totals the album to around 47 minutes and 38 seconds. Many tracks would fade in to one another. The album also uses a number of sound effects, such as answering machines, cat noises, whistling, and guitar effects. The track "Cool Magnet" features a guitar solo by Dean DeLeo of Stone Temple Pilots.

  7. A very solid bunch of songs and probably the best album that Local H ever made, Pack Up The Cats is a overlooked gem that should've been Local H ticket to alt-rock stardom that never was. Local H moves away from their post grunge roots to target a more general alt-rock sound to great success.
