Classes include Acting, Voice, Movement, Musical Theatre Ensemble, Shakespeare, Theatre History, Stage Combat and more. The technical theatre students examine all aspects of production enabling them to develop as designers, craftspeople and technicians.

The Conservatory. PCPA Pacific Conservatory supports a unique, fully accredited vocational training program at Allan Hancock College for aspiring actors and theatre technicians. It is the only training program, with an Equity theatre company with fully integrated community college Career and Technical Education programs, in the country.

PCPA is a professional conservatory theatre, committed to reflecting and transforming our diverse community with the art of live theatre. We believe that the theatre has a vital role and responsibility in the community to enrich cultural literacy and improve the quality of life.

2 de dic. de 2023 · PCPA offers year-round entertainment in two venues: the Marian Theatre, a 440-seat theatre with a thrust stage, and the Severson Theatre, a 204-seat flexible black box theatre.

The two theaters on the campus of Allan Hancock College have been recently renovated. Parking on campus is free: for performances on school days, you'll receive a parking pass with your tickets. PCPA also performs outdoors in the summer at the Solvang Theaterfest, about 30 miles south of Santa Maria.
