1 Blessed are those who have regard for the weak; the Lord delivers them in times of trouble. 2 The Lord protects and preserves them— they are counted among the blessed in the land— he does not give them over to the desire of their foes. 3 The Lord sustains them on their sickbed. and restores them from their bed of illness.

A Psalm of David. 1 Blessed is the one who cares for the poor; the LORD will deliver him in the day of trouble. 2 The LORD will protect and preserve him; He will bless him in the land. and refuse to surrender him. to the will of his foes. 3 The LORD will sustain him on his bed of illness.

1 God always blesses those who are kind to the poor and helpless. They’re the first ones God helps. when they find themselves in any trouble. 2 The Lord will preserve and protect them. They’ll be honored and esteemed. while their enemies are defeated. 3 When they are sick, lying upon their bed of suffering, God will restore them.
