The song was a big hit for the band, reaching number three on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100. “Listen, People” was written by the great songwriter Graham Gouldman, who would compose many of Herman’s Hermits hits.

He has been with Herman’s Hermits non-stop since 1964, historying the USA alone more than 150 times. One of the high points of his career was meeting Elvis Presley in Hawaii in the 60’s.
