This album presents the work of a composer who is recognized as one of the all-time great innovators on alto saxophone, violin, and trumpet, as he leads his band, Prime Time, in a live set recorded during the grand opening of the Caravan of Dreams, the new performing arts complex in his home town, Fort Worth, Texas.
Presented on this album are live recordings of Ornette and his Prime Time band performing for the opening of the Caravan of Dreams club/cultural center in Ornette’s home town of Fort Worth Texas.
