In 2003 Benson re-released his debut album along with bonus tracks including the unreleased six-track extended play Wellfed Boy EP. In 2003, Benson also released Metarie , with his then band The Well Fed Boys, and which featured a cover of Paul McCartney 's Let Me Roll It , which featured back-up vocals by Jack White .

One Mississippi was later reissued digitally and included six original four-track demos. These songs were previously released on Brendan’s Readymade Records, as the limited edition vinyl-only Wellfed Boy EP . Having parted ways with Virgin, Brendan released fan favorite Lapalco (2002) on Isaac Green’s Startime International.
30 de ene. de 2007 · It's comprised of "One Mississippi" and "The Wellfed Boy EP" (Wellfed Boys was the name of an incarnation of his backing band) and is great value. Overall, it's brilliant. I would have to say that the follow up album "Lapalco" is even better - but this is just trying to compare two masterpieces to each other.
