Once Upon a Time in Hollywood teve sua estreia mundial no Festival de Cannes em 21 de maio de 2019. Foi lançado nos cinemas dos Estados Unidos em 26 de julho, pela Sony Pictures Releasing. Inicialmente, tinha sido agendado para ser lançado em 9 de agosto para coincidir com 50.º ano dos Assassinatos Tate-LaBianca.
