Oliver Penrose (Marylebone, Londres, Reino Unido, 1929) es un teórico e investigador y profesor universitario emérito en matemáticas y física. Oliver Penrose FRS FRSE (born 6 June 1929) is a British theoretical physicist. [1] He is the son of the scientist Lionel Penrose and brother of the mathematical physicist Roger Penrose, chess Grandmaster Jonathan Penrose, and geneticist Shirley Hodgson.
Oliver Penrose. His oldest brother, Oliver Penrose (*1929), was professor of mathematics at the Open University in Milton Keynes, and from 1986 until his retirement in 1994, professor at the Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh.
Oliver Penrose was a Professor of Mathematics at Heriot-Watt University from 1986 until his retirement in 1994. Before that he spent 17 years at the Open University. He is still active in research and now holds the title Professor Emeritus.
