Oleg Sergeyevich Prokofiev (Russian: Оле́г Серге́евич Проко́фьев; 14 December 1928, Paris – 20 August 1998, Alderney) was an artist, sculptor and poet, and the son of composer Sergei Prokofiev . Artistic life. His career as an artist began at sixteen, attending the Moscow School of Art from 1944 to 1949.

Oleg Prokofiev (1928–1998) University of Surrey. Artist and writer, born in Paris. From 1936–71 he lived in Moscow, then moved to England, settling in southeast London, becoming a full-time artist. Studied at Moscow Art School, 1944–7, from 1949–52 working in the studio of the painter R Falk.
Oleg Prokofiev is a significant and undiscovered poet who deserves more exposure. His extant poetic output, some hundreds of poems, all in Russian, was left with his family at his death in 1998.
