Old Man's Child is a Norwegian black metal band from the city of Oslo. The band is the brainchild of Galder (formerly known as Grusom; birth name: Thomas Rune Andersen) who is the only permanent member of the band.

La banda fue fundada en 1993, pero sus orígenes se remontan hacia 1989; cuando Galder Aldrahn Jardar eran miembros de la banda de death metal / thrash metal Requiem. Después la banda Requiem cambia su nombre y es ahí cuando se forma Old Man's Child.

Old Man's Child. Norwegian melodic black metal band from Jessheim/Oslo, founded in 1993. The foundation of the band was discovered in 1989 when Galder/Grusom (Thomas Rune Andersen Orre) and Tjodalv (Ian Kenneth Åkesson) founded a Metallica/Slayer cover band called Requiem.
