Ginger Baker’s Air Force II ... Live in Offenbach, Germany 1970. Released March 19, 2010. This is a great live recording from 1970 that was not released until fifty years later. The sound is not that great as it was recorded from the audience. However, the performance is mind-blowing.

Given how much Baker was able to achieve in a trio setting, a ten-piece band might seem like overkill. And, of course, it is.
