6 de nov. de 2023 · Probably when I was writing Ocean of Sound in 1995, researching Claude Debussy, his sensory and aesthetic predispositions, his artistic circle. Perhaps referenced in a tantalising footnote, it was a novel that speculated on life as it might be lived within sound as the dominant sensorial medium.
Hace 3 días · It’s not a thing for me to say I make flutes as part of my practice but make them I do, since c. 1971, in fact, when I began to search for new sounds, tunings, a reduction down to the basis of a sounding device: a single sound that can be shaped and modified yet remains itself. I made a new one last week, the one at the bottom of the above image.

In theory, I should switch over into Production Mode next week, but I think production will get put in a four-hour daily block and the rest of the time Lab Mode will persist.
