The Oberlin Jazz Ensemble is composed of jazz as well as classical performance majors, the ensemble is a component in a four-year curriculum in jazz studies leading to a Bachelor of Music degree with a concentration in performance, composition, or both.

Under the direction of Chris Anderson, Oberlin Jazz Ensemble will perform in Finney Chapel. The concert will feature the performance and arrangements of Oberlin Jazz Studies alumnus Jake Silverman '14, a GRAMMY-winning arranger, jazz pianist, jazz organist, electronic musician, composer, and educator.
