But because Phil is the voice of 80s Genesis, he gets the blame for the pop side of Genesis. In all the Genesis documentaries, all three guys state Tony is the main lyricist. Phil says it in his biography. I remember the special ABC aired when We Can’t Dance was released in 1992.
