In 2003 Wax Poetic then released Nublu Sessions with a more concentrated group of musicians that grew out of the burgeoning Nublu scene and featured vocals from U-Roy, N’Dea Davenport, and Saul Williams, as well as Norah Jones and others.

2 de dic. de 2003 · Gruff reggae man U-Roy sounds as effervescent as ever, and N'Dea Davenport's turn gives the album a sparkling disco detour. Saul Williams ' kinetic narrative commands his track as expected, but his message serves to break up an otherwise enigmatic album.
Norah Jones, a former member of the band, provides soulful vocals on two tracks and N'Dea Davenport (late of the Brand New Heavies) graces yet another. This is challenging music that rewards the adventurous listener with nearly an hour of joyful celebration.
