  4. 2 de nov. de 2015 · In August 1939 I was in the T.A. (Hotspur Street, Maryhill), and was 'called up' straight from school into the Glasgow Highlanders. We were billeted at North Kelvinside School, drilled and trained during the day, and slept on straw mattresses each night.
