May Morning adds further to that legacy, she having performed it with both of her parents, for one of the Waterson: Carthy albums. The fiddle is out, once more, but this is a rougher, tougher rendition, raw and relentless.

This track was reissued in 2003 on The Definitive Collection . They also sang it at their homecoming concert at Hull Truck Theatre on 15 August 2010 to celebrate Norma’s 71st birthday.
