Admissions. Noel-Baker Academy is for students aged 11-16 and our standard pupil admissions number is 280. Applications for a place should be made by stating the Academy as a preference on the common application form available from Derby City Education Authority.

The Noel-Baker Academy English Department is committed to ensuring that all students are given their entitlement to ‘the best that has been thought and said’ in English. Our curriculum is designed to build the cultural capital that students need to be successful in school and in life.
To be an ambassador for the school both in and outside the academy- including networking and collaborative working with staff and pupils and the local community. To chair/vice-chair and actively participate in school council meetings and any other relevant meetings as and when required.
