16 de feb. de 2023 · I never really compared Bob Seger to Leslie West before, but this early Bob Seger System stuff brings out some comparisons that I notice. Anyway this is a GREAT song for the emotional punch. The pace suddenly slows down during the line "Standing there like a piller of salt, don't know the day my hair's turning grey, oh is the tide comin' to take my blues away" which I like.

5 de jul. de 2022 · It is still hard to believe that Bob still to this day hasn't re-released his back catalog of albums on CD. Here is a welcome exception. The sound is very good and the music is exceptional. Maybe someday Bob will come around and release the rest, in the meantime, this is well worth having in your collection if you are a fan of Seger.
