No Kinda Dancer is the first album by Texas-based Folk singer-songwriter Robert Earl Keen, originally released in the United States on the Austin, TX based Workshop Records label in 1984. A few months later, the album was issued by Philo Records and re-released in 2004 by KOCH Records with additional tracks. Notable for "The Front Porch Song" co-written by Lyle Lovett.
Debuting with 1984's No Kinda Dancer, the Houston native has recorded 20 full-length albums for both independent and major record labels. His songs have had cover versions recorded by many musicians, including George Strait, Joe Ely, Lyle Lovett, The Highwaymen and Nanci Griffith.
