Nigel Pegrum. Drums/Flute. 1973-1989. The band decided they needed a drummer when they were about to embark on a major stadium tour of the US supporting Jethro Tull. Nigel joined in June 1973 and was Steeleye's first permanent drummer and an integral part of the 'Classic' line up and the 'Folk Rock' sound that they became known for.
