Nick van Gelder was larger than life in wisdom, leadership, physical size, generosity, compassion, humour and ambition. He was many things to many people - a colleague, a mentor, a leader, a team mate, a friend, a son, a brother, a husband and a father to two beautiful daughters.
Owing to a life with Nick, I knew that dreams must be put into action and so, with the help of my co-founders, the Nick van Gelder Dreamers Foundation was born. Nick left behind something special in all who knew him and the Foundation has been formed by some of those whose lives have been touched by Nick as a way to pay forward the extraordinary legacy that Nick has left behind.
Nick van ‘groove’ Gelder started his music career in the mid 80s as drummer and co founder of cult space-rock band Ozric Tentacles.
