The setlist was a gradual ramp-up with the louder, more intense tracks saved for the second half the set which felt like the right move for a group of musicians equally adept at subtle, art-rock songs as they are rocking the fuck out.

This collaboration was short-lived, but Shiny Joe Ryan and Nick Allbrook, the lead vocalist of Mink Mussel Creek, seemed to like working together—and in 2008, they, alongside Jay Watson, created Pond as an open collective.
