The New York University (NYU) Tisch School of the Arts stands as a beacon of creativity and artistic excellence. Situated in the vibrant heart of New York City, Tisch is renowned worldwide for nurturing and empowering emerging talent in a wide spectrum of artistic disciplines, including film, theatre, music, dance, and visual arts.
NYU Tisch Animation Area serves the needs of all Film and TV students for both animation and live-action projects. The curriculum is varied and integrated with both traditional animation and 2D and 3D animation courses at fundamentals, intermediate and advanced levels, as well as storyboarding, titles, optical and digital effects, life drawing and history and criticism classes.
Tracks include: Dance, Drama, Production & Design, Dramatic Writing, Filmmaking, Game Design, Photography and Imaging, and Recorded Music. Summer at Tisch. Pursue academic studies of the arts or professional-conservatory training with Tisch faculty of artists and scholars. Take an in-person class in New York City or enroll in an online course. You will create and collaborate with students from around the world, opening doors for new networking opportunities.
