Neil Dudgeon (born 2 January 1961) is an English actor who, from 2011, portrayed DCI John Barnaby in the popular ITV crime drama Midsomer Murders. He replaced John Nettles in the lead role. Dudgeon was born and brought up in Doncaster, West Riding of Yorkshire and attended Intake Secondary Modern school, among others.
