Hace 3 días · Nearly Human is a 1989 album by the rock musician Todd Rundgren, released by Warner Bros. Records. It was his first release in four years, although he had been active as a producer in the intervening years. Many of the album's songs deal with loss, self-doubt, jealousy and spiritual recovery.
He finally returned with Nearly Human, his first album of new material in four years, in the summer of 1989. During his hiatus as a recording artist, Rundgren became fascinated with recording live music, deciding to record Nearly Human live in the studio -- not nearly as flamboyant as A Cappella, but a gimmick nonetheless.

26 de jul. de 2006 · I'm a big Rundgren fan but do not believe that all of his work is great; it's definitely up and down sometimes. Nearly Human has some of his greatest songs in the pop mould -- of that there is no doubt. Want Of A Nail and Parallel Lines are two of my favorite Todd songs ever, and his Philly soul-style voice is in top form here.
